Tom Green joined Online Distribution on Monday, 16th November 2009, and has built a strong career within the company, supported by dedicated mentors, management, and peers. This ongoing support has been instrumental in his professional development, allowing him to gain valuable industry insights and expertise.He thrives on the variety and challenges of his daily work, always engaged in something interesting while collaborating with a fantastic team across the company. A key milestone in Tom’s career was stepping into an Operations Management role in 2018, where he took on the responsibility of managing multiple business units across Christchurch.Tom describes Online Distribution as a progressive organization that prioritizes staff development and growth, making it a rewarding place to work. If he had to sum up Online Distribution in one word, it would be "progressive."

Michael Niupopo

Site Manager

Michael Niupopo joined Online in March 2017, starting as a Trainee Site Manager for FP2 before advancing to a 2IC role for FP1. Today, he leads as the Site Manager for SW1. His career growth has been shaped by the diverse and dynamic environment at Online Distribution, where he thrives on the fast-paced nature of the job and the daily challenges it presents.Michael's proudest achievement has been reaching his current role as Site Manager. He values the strong team-oriented culture at Online Distribution, where collaboration ensures that no one works alone—everyone contributes toward achieving the final goal together.

Lance Knyvett

National Quality and Inventory Manager

Lance started as a Client Manager at Online Distribution in Auckland in 2016, quickly moving to a Site Manager role the following year. Lance says that Online Distributions culture fosters problem-solving, and the flexible working environment encourages initiative and involvement across a wide range of activities. The management's "can do" attitude supports those who thrive on finding solutions and driving improvements. Lance relocated to Christchurch in 2020 and he is now the National Quality and Inventory Manager. He finds the problem-solving aspect of his role particularly fulfilling, given the diverse requirements of our clients and the continuous opportunities for service enhancement as technology and client needs evolve. Assisting with the successful opening of three new warehouses from 2022 to 2024 are among Lance’s proudest achievements. While establishing new warehouses involves significant effort, Lance has found it incredibly rewarding to onboard new clients, implement updated processes, and build new teams. At Online Distribution, the close-knit environment ensures that everyone is valued and well-known.

Jesse Strickland

Operations Manager - Northern

Jesse began working with Online Distribution in a casual role in October 2009 while completing his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, which he finished in 2012. After assisting with a major client in Auckland, he joined the Trainee Manager Programme in January 2013, quickly progressing to 2IC in March and Manager by June 2014. As a Manager, he oversaw major warehouse operations, trained new staff, and improved efficiencies. Jesse continued to advance and is now the Operations Manager for the Northern Region.He values the career progression opportunities Online Distribution has provided, allowing him to apply his academic knowledge in a real business environment. His biggest achievement is his rapid career growth, and he enjoys the fast-paced nature of the business, working with a diverse range of clients and challenges.

Jason Reid

H&S and Compliance Manager

Jason joined Online Distribution in April 2004 as a Storeperson. He has since fulfilled several different roles within our warehouses, and now in our Central Office. Jason has a passion for Health and Safety and his early career experience in our warehouse operations are integral to his ability to make a meaningful contribution in his current role as our Health & Safety and Compliance Manager. Between 2020 and 2023 with the support of Online Distribution, Jason completed part-time study at the Southern Institute of Technology, and graduated with a diploma in New Zealand Workplace Health and Safety (Level 6). Outside of work, Jason enjoys travelling, cooking, golf and mountain biking.

Jasmin Mita

Payroll & Accts Administrator and Key Client Support

Jasmin Mita started at Online Distribution as a casual storeperson in Auckland in 2008, quickly gaining experience in picking, packing, and administration. In 2009, she was promoted to an administration role, handling invoicing, orders, customer service, and stock control. Her knowledge and adaptability led to her promotion to 2IC in 2011 and then Trainee Site Manager for a new Auckland warehouse. By November 2011, she officially became Site Manager. After 18 months, she transferred to Christchurch to manage a larger site and later took charge of Online Distributions  biggest Christchurch location.In August 2022 Jasmin transitioned from the operations team into the finance team.Her position as Payroll and Accounts administrator and client specific support has enabled to her to learn and grow even further within the company.Jasmin credits Online Distribution for providing career growth opportunities and values the supportive team environment.

Ifigao Vaili

Site Manager

Ifigao began his journey with Online Distribution in 2012 as a casual employee while pursuing his university studies. From 2012 to 2016, he balanced his academic commitments with his role, laying the groundwork for his career growth. In 2017, Ifigao was promoted to Trainee Site Manager, moving to a 2IC role later that year, and advancing to a Site Manager role in 2020. Despite his initial self-doubt, the unwavering support from his manager and team bolstered his confidence and helped him embrace the challenge. Ifigao takes great pride in working with his team and appreciates the collaboration and mutual support that is at the heart of Online Distributions culture.

Freight Network and Solutions Manager

David Potter has been with Online Distribution since November 2015, starting as a Trainee Site Manager before progressing into analytical support roles across different regional offices. His career growth reflects his dedication and adaptability, with his current focus on optimizing freight solutions. David values Online Distribution’s flat organizational structure, which fosters a supportive and approachable work environment. His biggest achievement is the recognition and opportunities he has received throughout his journey. If he had to describe Online Distribution in one word, it would be family-oriented.

Cushla Brown

Accounts Manager

Cushla joined Online Distribution in 1995 as a school leaver and has since built a dynamic career within the company. Starting as an office junior, she gained experience across various roles, including warehouse operations, customer service, human resources, and payroll administration. Her current role as Accounts Manager involves managing accounts receivable and payable, processing company accounts, payroll & compliance and reporting to the management team.Online Distribution has been instrumental in supporting Cushla’s career growth, providing flexibility as she balanced work and family life. In 2016, with the company’s backing, she began part-time study at Canterbury University, working towards a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting.Cushla takes pride in her contributions to the company, particularly in finalizing annual accounts, and values the strong workplace culture that has kept her engaged for nearly three decades. She attributes her long tenure to the supportive and family-like environment at Online Distribution.
